Review the DRAFT BID Organization Plan
THANKS to all those who attended the Business Improvement District (BID) Meetings in June. Great turnout and discussion during our public introduction of the DRAFT Plan for a Flagler BID. Business owners, property owners, and residents were well represented.
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 305-379-7070 if we can provide further information.
2) WHIPLASH!! – CBD Zoning: WTF??
SUPPORT!!! Proposed Amendments to Chapter 4
Next City Commission Meeting: Thursday, July 27
While researching the online agenda for the July 27 City Commission meeting, we discovered the latest version of proposed zoning regulations (one that we’ve never seen) which for the most part meets our demands for the "Central Business District” (download .pdf with map). The document is not perfect, but with just a few tweaks that could be included before the Second Reading in September, we recommend SUPPORT!
We will need a very focused group of stakeholders to demand approval as proposed in the backup. Of course, we would oppose any change introduced during the meeting to include distance requirements in the CBD.
Mark your calendars for Thursday, July 27 • 9am
Please stay tuned, and feel freet to contact us if we can provide further information.

Efforts to improve the Flagler District begin by demanding that the City of Miami move the stalled Flagler Streetscape project forward according to a predictable project schedule. The project, which broke ground in January of 2016, is hopelessly behind schedule, and Downtown businesses are suffering as a result of the delay.
