Downtown Miami boasts more than 15 buildings individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well as the National Register Downtown Miami Historic District, which includes 58 contributing structures (some below). Many of the buildings in the historic district were built during the Florida land boom of the 1920s, when Miami experienced rapid population growth.
